18th century gilded frame with floral stucco decoration, damaged due to a fall while being installed. The core of broken wooden slats was adhered, loosened and deformed wire reinforcements were reshaped and all fragments reinserted. As a result, only minimal filling and in-painting was required. Despite the severe damage the original substance was preserved almost completely.
